This challah cover combines improv piecing with appliqué work, hand and machine quilting and embroidery to create a beautiful wildflower field created as a commission for a wedding. The custom embroidered phrase in Hebrew says הילכו שניהם יחד בלתי אם נועדו, from Amos Chapter 3, translates to "Will two walk together unless they agreed?" and was couple's wedding quote. The bride and groom met in The Columbia University's Jewish acopella group Pizmon, so I used that tee-shirt as the backing fabric.
