Custom Challah Covers

On Shabbat and Jewish holiday tables, the ritual bread (challah), is covered by a beautiful cloth while the blessing over the wine is recited. There are a few reasons as to why one covers challah but the reason that resonates most with me is that we cover the challah so that it (yes, the bread) doesn't feel ashamed that the wine is prioritized in the blessing order. It's such a nice lesson that we should aim to treat everything with dignity and elevate even the mundane or overlooked with beauty.  

Below are examples of my custom challah covers. These challah covers are created by me, one at a time. I like to have a phone call with you to find out what you're looking for and if there are any themes, words or fabric you'd like to incorporate. As of 10/20/21, the price for custom challah covers start at $360.
